1. Introduction

Jane Dolls (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a small studio creating handmade knitted dolls and toys. These Terms apply to all sales made through our website and form a legally binding agreement between you and us.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on our website at the time you place it.

2. Product Information

Because every item is handmade, each piece is unique. Small variations in colour, size and stitching are a natural characteristic of handcrafted goods and are not considered faults.

• Product images are illustrative; slight differences from the item you receive are to be expected.
• Measurements provided are approximate.
• Materials and care information are listed on each product page.

3. Pricing

All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown separately before you confirm your order.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.

4. Ordering

By submitting an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms. To place an order you must:

• Be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian;
• Provide accurate and complete billing and delivery information;
• Use a valid, authorised payment method.

5. Payment

Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering. We accept major credit and debit cards and selected digital wallets. All transactions are processed securely by our payment providers over an encrypted connection; we do not store your full card details.

6. Order Confirmation

After you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email. This confirms we have received your order but does not constitute acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation.

7. Cancellation

As our products are handmade to order, you may cancel your order for a full refund provided it has not yet entered production. Once we have begun making your item, cancellation may not be possible. Custom and personalised orders cannot be cancelled once production has started.

8. Returns

You may return an eligible item within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, the item must be:

• Unused and in its original condition;
• Returned with any original packaging and tags;
• Accompanied by proof of purchase.

Custom or personalised pieces are non-returnable unless they are faulty or not as described.

9. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 working days. Original delivery charges are non-refundable except where the item is faulty.

10. Product Availability

All items are subject to availability. Because pieces are made in limited quantities, an item may occasionally sell out or become unavailable. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you and offer an alternative or a full refund.

11. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to use our website and products responsibly. In particular, you are responsible for:

• Keeping your account details secure and confidential;
• Providing accurate information at checkout;
• Following the care and safety guidance provided with each product;
• Supervising children during play, as recommended.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including our designs, characters, images, text and branding — is the property of Jane Dolls and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use our designs or content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the price paid for the relevant product. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any matter that cannot lawfully be limited.
